Problem:
Brown(3/10/2009 4:58:34 AM)
I just need to know if the following RAM will work with this motherboard:
http://www.1stchoicememory.com/catalog/products.asp?ID=2223
I feel a little better about it this is a SIS product, however I’m unsure if the specific product will work with the MOBO.
Computer Memory - 1GB - PC2700 / 333MHz DDR One of the most critical purchasing decisions you can make when building or upgrading your computer is selecting the right memory. While a memory module may be a true 1GB - PC2700 / 333MHz DDR, the specifications, quality and performance can still vary significantly. The items listed below conform to a wide range of performance, quality and customer support criteria. By selecting an Atlas Precision Memory module or using the ’Memory Configurator’ to select a system specific upgrade, you are ensuring the greatest level of performance, reliability, compatibility and product support.

Dear Brown,
Thank you for having contact with us and choosing AOPEN products.
With regards to your query, we would like to inform you that it’s hard for me to say it works out because there are a lot of memory manufacturer in the market. This motherboard supports up to 1GB of memory capacity beyond that we cannot guarantee if its works, like the one (url: 1st choice memory) you gave, when I tried to search using their search enginemanufacturer searchAopens651m (model) there’s listed 2GB of memory stick which we did not try yet to test this kind of memory. Sir, if possible you can also ask their technical support if they did testing the memory listed on their page.
